Why Work With Us?

This page has remained blank since the rollout of this new version of the website in August.  That has been partly because I’ve simply been busy and completing this page has been a lower priority than serving active clients.  But also, I’ll freely admit, part of it has to do with this being one of the hardest pages to write of the whole site.

I, like other people I believe, struggle to put into words what our true value is.  Call it an identity crisis or a self esteem crisis, hardly things that people who know me would label me as having, but which I non the less confess to sometimes.  I think that most people know in their heart what their value is but they just have a hard time putting it in convincing words, so they wind up with some boilerplate “professional bio” that has that “thin clank of the counterfeit”.  In other words:  Marketing Fluff.Best Alpharetta Realtor

I’ve had marketing fluff before and I didn’t want to have it again, so this page remained blank.  Then it came to me the other day when my seven-year-old asked me:  “Daddy, are you a commodity.”  That made me smile.  This simple question was topped only minutes later when my nine-year-old asked:  “Dad, are you a professional?”  Don’t kid yourself; children really do know what is going on.

In the process of explaining it to a child, it became clear to me how and why I’m different.

You see, many people think that “realtors are all alike” or, “I don’t need a realtor, all they do is put a sign in the yard and wait for another realtor to sell it.”  I wonder, do people think that all, say, dentists are the same?  All they do is brush your teeth and occassionally drill a little hole and put filler in it.
